Everything that begins must end right? If eternity or rather the universe never ends did it ever start? If god created the heavens and the earth, he is eternal. But why would he take so long to do so? What sort of reasoning justifies this cause. Evolution shows that by random mutations in DNA sequences, organisms are sometimes able to better adapt, survival of the fittest?, more like survival of the lucky! Thus we are lucky in a sense. I would hope to think that God would have created such a wonder being not by chance but intervention. Why take so long then. Why have so many stars in the universe for such a small civilization? It seems to me that we occured by random mutations in gene sequences over many years. By mass action any probability is likely to occur. You see this by looking at the stars in the sky. Do any of them have life. Shouldn't they have life as well if devine intervention is a basic fundamental principle of our existence. "And the earth brought forth..." a random occurance. Bible scholars date the earth back to about 6,000 years. Carbon dating does no such thing. One is just down right not true. What do you people think. I am so confused!!

I really don't like these evolution versus creationism discussions because I think the "conflict" is rather ridiculous.

It would say it's simple. Creation the mechanics in how it all happened, God is the mechanic.
