I think it's time America got over this Leave it to Beaver / Norman Rockwell alternate reality that it pretends to live in.

Wake up parents - your 14 year old son or daughter probably knows as much about sex as you do. Odds are, when you were that age, you were far from clueless. Hell, your great grandmother might have gotten married at that age, depending on where in the country you're from.

Given the fact that kids ARE knocking boots, what's it going to be? Contraceptives and prophylactics? Abortions? Or make the 15 year old squeeze a baby through her underdeveloped pelvis while the father skips off on his merry way?

Or maybe we can just have them do like those kids who swore to keep their virginity did, and learn about anal and oral sex. That'd keep the pregnancies down.

I completely agree with the poster above! I think people are confusing this initiative with force.

This isn't being forced upon the children of the school, it is merely an option.

I would rather have children be educated on the subject rather than be stifled.

Looking at it in bigger perspective, we have to stop the slow of underage pregnancy at any cost. It's getting out of control. We have a media that constantly pushing this "sex is cool" image to everyone from 10 years old on and aren't required to take any responsibility for the residual effects of the message they're selling. I don't see why birth control/regulation is such a touchy subject. Obviously there's an issue, why not solve it?
