I have known I had myeloma for nearly 5 years now. I have had many treatments, including an autologous stem cell transplant. It's essential that your mom sees an MM specialist, not just any hem/onc. There are mailing lists where you can connect with lots of MM patients and caregivers, too: web.mmsupport.net...
www.acor.org.... You can learn from the experiences of others. Getting the right doctor can increase survival, believe me. There are just some out there that don't have enough experience with this rare cancer.

You can read about my own experience with this cancer at www.myelomablog.com. I started it in April, 2003, about 4 months after I found out I had MM.

You can find lists of cancer-fighting foods and herbs at Newstarget.
Newstarget

Raw foods and herbs naturally contain cancer-fighting ingredients, otherwise, we'd all be dead of cancer.

Here's a good article: Nutrients in cruciferous vegetables found to induce death of cancer cells

Good luck to your mother.

Thank you very much So how are you? What kind of experience have you had with this? If you don't mind sharing.

I have sent the links and told her to sign up.

Thanks for all the advise.

I think it would be good if your mother eats lots of apples and other foods with b17 you can do a Google to find more foods.

Also there was a diet that a saw not to long ago that had a 90% cure rate of almost all types of cancers, the guy that made it was a Nobel prize winner...here is the link

90% cancer cure diet

don't take that diet to likely, i would imagine that it would do more harm than good in the long run, but the idea of eating allot of cottage cheese is really good for the body...so i would probably just suggest cottage cheese and apples...but also read over the article

I am in the process of building some new dc current wrist devices and stuff, if you want i can make one or 2 and send them to you...but its really easy to make, you can probably get the stuff from home depo...all you need is a battery holder, some batteries, and cloth and glue gun. But i would honestly if you get any chance read that yahoo group site i posted, it has lots of information that can save your moms life...there have been people that posted that say they saw cancer go into remission...

also there were many threads on this site of cancer treatments and cures from around the world, some not even noticed by many...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

take care man, you and your mother...
