WorldView-1 is sponsored by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to fill imagery and geospatial needs for military, intelligence, foreign policy, homeland security and civil users.

Too bad it's not quite like Google Earth

Worldview-1 is still not fully operational whatever that means. Next year Worldview-2 which provides color images comes on line. Pictures are pretty detailed.
