The memory part I do not agree with. I can remember traumatic events that happened when I was 2 yrs of age, and mine weren't that terrible but I still apparently at that age thought it was traumatic enough to store it in my memory. This child is 3 and I'm sure she may not remember it all but believe me she knows that something wrong happened to her.

Any traumatic experience like that is going to devistate her whether she is conscious of it or not. Even though she may not remember it, or one day may remember a small brief image, it will effect the way she treates adults, and responds to them.

From my upbringing, as a result, I have no compassion toward my family. I don't remember most of it, but I do remember an item I was hit with. Pain like that subconsciously changes you. I don't hate my parents, but no matter what they do, at this point, I will never have any feelings toward them. Up until 17 I felt this way and didn't know why. I didn't even really remember most of the early childhood events till I remembered a bit later in my life when my neighbor made mention of them. I had remembered my neighbor of 9 (when I was 5) saying "Don't tell on him, his parents will beat him with a *item hear(no need to name it)*"

So I know, without a doubt, this is going to create a LOAD of problems for her down the road. Her experience I consider much more devistating then mine, and mine has left me with many issues.

Personally I hope they kill the bastard in whatever way they deem fit.

Im just glad they found this guy without anyone else getting hurt in the process. I say let the general population of whatever hellhole of a prision he ends up in take care of him. They have their own brand of justice, Id say its fitting.

even in prison, there is a certain code and there are things that you don't do.
rapists are not that well received in prison but child rapists are the worst.
if you're going to prison for that, you're gonna have a hard time...

While I personally don't believe capital punishment is the right course in any case, I can say it doesnt really matter much this man will be dead within weeks if not days of being released into the general population in prison. And I am not trying to be all pansy about it, I don't believe there is a sane person out there who doesn't feel this man deserves to be cruely and unusally punished for this crime, it is a vile dispicable and totally evil thing he has done. And his fellow inmates will punish him accordingly and probably to swiftly.

There is never a excuse for behaviour such as this....EVER! While most people deserve a 2nd chance, people like this used theirs up when they went from 'planning or thinking about doing it' to the act itself.

Has it occured to those that think peace, love and enough understanding therapy will 'cure' this man, that maybe there isn't anything to cure?
