9/11 scanner sounds

i have downloaded mp3's/wavs from here and they are of washington and new york police/emergency channels from 9/11

it is intersting to hear how calm the washington emergency services were on 9/11.

they also have airport tower comunications with flight 93, and millitary comunications.

they also have 911 calls from numerous incidents in the past few years (incl columbine, oj simpson, columbia disaster, police chases etc etc, and some video of plane crashes.

i am now listening to wtc3.wav it is when the second tower collapsed

that is really disturbing to hear (the guy sounded injured, screaming help help, and crying) oh god, my curiosity has got the better of me, i wish i hadnt heard it.

so they sound calm. they are supposed to sound calm so as not to freak the poeple on the other end of the line.

they sound really calm on the pentagon one's, the wtc ones theyre not so calm (which is undestandable)

I live in Yonkers NY i had my pro-95 scanner on at the time this happened because i only have NYPD SOD (Special operations devision) and man was it buys they were sending trucks by trucks by trucks note these are esu trucks with all the tactical gear etc. I wasnt listening to any prcnt because i listen to the adrenaline pumping SOD they always have a chase or they need snipers etc. But man was my scanner busy that day.

I have a 3CD set of September 11th images, movies, these scanner recordings, some independent rememberance slideshows, documents, all kinds of stuff.

I'll send anyone the set for covering postage if you want it.

i would but ive probably got most of it, oh and the fact that i can't afford to pay for shipping to australia (that wouldn't be cheap)

hopefully someone will though.

the only thing i'm after (out of sheer curiosity) is tapes of the live news broadcasts (preferably the first say 3-4 hours of the incident) my friends used to have 4 tapes of live coverage but his mum taped over it.

but once again they'd have to be in australia or theyd have to be free cus' i got no money
