I think what needs to be asked is why are the Democrats pushing this thru Congress?

My theory is that they are hoping that the Turks shut down the supply lines into Iraq. If they can't get anything to limit the war thru Congress, this is a back door attempt to do it.

Gee, It's Almost As If They Want To Undermine The War

Seems rather transparent to me, particularly in light of the timing, political situation and long history of this issue.

As for whether it's ethical or appropriate, I guess that's up to the voters to decide.
