Where has Labour gone wrong?

With tax cuts for the middle classes, but nothing for the poor, is Britain now becoming a country where only swing voter classes get represented, and as a result traditional Labour areas have come to feel that they are not represented. If the problem is part of the solution, what is the problem with Labour in Britain?
