lets say bush didn't step down in '08

now lets just say, hypothetically, bush doesn't step down in the 08 elections. whether it be him enforcing martial law for a fabricated reason, another inside "terrorist attack" job or even a fake alien invasion

what do you guys think would happen, would there be a full blown revolution? would the people who serve our country in the military back him up? could this possibly even start a civil war?

just a topic i thought would be interesting to discuss here at ATS so.. discuss away!

NO! Let's not say that! It gives me a migraine. Bush's last day: 01/20/09... Let's just repeat that mantra over and over and over again and maybe it will come true!

I have been thinking about that myself. The only way for him to stay as president is to declare Martial Law before the election.

Martial Law can only be declared if some large scale event takes place, like perhaps a nuclear, chemical or biological weapon being detonated in the US.

So if so, I doubt the people would want to have a revolution while every "normal" american in America think they are being attacked by Al Quida. If you do try to have a revolution at that point, you may find yourself being up against not only the government, the police and the military but also against the people who do not believe it being a false flag attack.

And it will be very difficult even for you to be certain if it was a false flag attack or not once it happens. The uncertainty will be major. It will be difficult to convince people without being certain yourself. You will be looked upon as being on the same side as the terrorists (that is, Al Quida) if you try to question the authorities. You will also be seen as unpatriotic.

So no, I dont believe in a successful revolution if we see a large scale attack in America.

If Bush, by whatever means nessicary, did not relinquish power before the next election cycle there would be massive changes in our world.

No president has ever atempted this, if one were to try, Bush might be the one, it would have to be done under the guise of our protection, and for our protection, any sties like this one would be desrtoyed.

Many things would have to happen prior to the event before it could happen. They would have to take our guns and ammo (which they are working on), and then they would have to install a private police force to keep the peace (which they are working on), our currency would have to worth nothing (done!), and the media would have to build up the feeling of perpetuial fear(yep, also done), and the powers that be would have to put in amendments and laws that would supercede US law(done) and allow the goverment to remain in power unchecked(also done). And also spread our foraces out around the globe that they would not be able to do anything about what is going on at home(check).

Once all of these things have happen, the people would be powerless, unless they have formed a gameplan for what is about to happen, The Enemy Within is smart, they know what they are doing, they are playing the game of chess were they are controling both sides of the board, and are thinking 10 moves ahead.

If it did happen, most(90%+) of the country would not even notice, they would be gluded to the TV, looking at how much more of Britniy Spears's a$$ is hanging out of her pants, and about which Celibra-slut is vomiting on themselfs and crashing into parked cars, to notice what is going on, nor would they notice when the police force comes to get the cyber terroists (us) and takes us away(what, you don't think the powers that be can't log our IP adresses off this site, and trace it back to where we are???).

The General populace is to complacent to care about what is happening, they just keep thier head stuck in the TV and would be oblivious to what is going on, the TV would send out some bougus message across the bottem of the screen, something like 'Executive order #11367 has gone into effect, go on with your lives, nothing is wroung, just keep watching your porn...' and that would be it, thats how these laws were passed into effect, and thats how they will be used, in the middle of the night under the guise of your protection.

If (lmao, WHEN) this happens we the people are going to have to act fast, make no mistake about it, it is us, the people who are digging for the truth, who are the enemy of the Powers that be, this is an event that has been building for almost 100 years, but i don't think the time is that close, there is a sucesor chosen already, and you know who she is.

There is still work for the goverment to do, they must continue to destroy our boarders, and by doing this they are pitting niehbor against niegbor (ouch, i can't spell[which one is right?]) until we will not trust anyone around us, to the point that we will gladly turn our nieghbors in so we think we will get a better slice of the pie.

The powers that be need to take more of our guns and ammo away, they need to totaly eliminate the Short Wave Radio bands that are for the public(sliced in half in recent years!) so after they cut the power to the net, we won't be able to reach each other on radio, they also need TOTAL control of the media, and all forms of it(as it stands now, one man and his empire control almost 50% of all media in our country).

The weapons that will be unleashed on the rebals (us) will be the most fantasic the world has never seen, mind control will take hold of the general populace, and they will be in a state of a semi-concious coma state, where they can still funtion on a survial level, but would be uncapible of making a individual desicsion. These types of mind control is already happening thru ads on telivision, it only takes time to perfect these methods, a steady stream of this 'information' can alter the way a person thinks, we have already gotten to this point, just wait til they really ramp this up.

So what can we do, im not sure, we would have hours, mabye days at the most to make our stand, and against an enemy that we cannot see, as the powers that be have found a way to blend in behind the maddness, controling our lives from a safehaven, that is impervious to our little selves. Who would we strike, and when, where, we cannot answer these questions, the people that would come to get us (private police forces) would only be the pawns of the powers that be, they are not our enimies, they are only being led under the false leadership of a few small men.

When this happens, we will not be able to comunicate with each other, our communicatoin sill be somewhere between the 18th/19th centuries.

The good news, look to the the founding documents of this country, and we have our answer on how to defend ourselves, form local militas, have a game plan, have a backup plan, have a alternate plan B, Because when it does down, we will have preacious moments to decide our future, and in the future, we will have endless time to debate what we didn't do, so do what you can.

So, i hope that we survie, and that we destory that powers that be, and bring freedom back to this great country.

You're scaring me TK Zero. I'll be on the front line if that day happens. Does anyone remember the bill that was attempted to be passed abolishing the two term presidency limit? I read it, and an icy chill passed thru my spine. If that happens John Titor will be correct except his time line off, there will be revolution.

I would hope that if congress couldn't or wouldn't do anything that the military would step in to defend the constitution, even though its not written that they should. Still, they are sworn to protect it, and such an act by El Duce minor would be in violation of it.

I hate to say this, but I've BEEN telling people this exact thing for years! I don't recall the executive order that allows it... for some reason I want to say 10999, but it is on the books! The whole thing reeks of FDR and the War Powers Act. Where's the damn Constitution when you need it?

The only thing I can add to your very comprehensive post is that they would use the ADS (Active Denial System), a directed energy weopon, against us if we tried to ban together to initiate a regime change. Its only purpose is crowd control on a large scale. There will be no marches on Washington that's for sure.

Lets face it, its a real possibility, and i think we will see a mass exodus. Other countries do not have it as good as we do currently and in the past, but i think i'd rather go to a third world country, live off the land and fish, live in a grass hut than to give up the freedom i've enjoyed for so many years.

I stated something to this end in another post. There will be some dramatic history making event that will keep the prezzy in office under the new laws he had secretly passed circumventing the ones that were in effect.

I have noticed that even the local cops are becoming more of a military style organization, rather than a "protect and serve" community oriented body. Their demeanor is much stiffer, and paranoid. And they look at the locals as if they are somehow the enemy.

I think that the memo's and directives have already been sent in anticipation of some sort of trauma.

hehe, yes ... I don't live my life in fear, but, it is not a fun thinking about the next 14 months or so. Who will get the nominations, What will laurel and hardy do? ... hopefully it will all be relatively uneventful.

If something is a miss, well, lots will die trying to fix it if it comes to it. A military coup isn't the best option, because we don't want to end up in a Burma type situation.

It can go really bad in many ways.


I hope and pray for the best. Maybe mickey mouse will win the election and walt disney's head will be resurrected on a android body. At least he had some vision (and not the robot chicken version of him either).



I think Bush is ready to step down though. It is the next figurehead's turn ... after the next 4-8 years, the next Bush will be ready to run ... Jeb. GW got enough of the agenda done to take leave. Well, I hope that is why he has become more relaxed ... and not that the plan is set and he knows he will be staying.
