IMO if Putin is visiting Iran, he is announcing his support for the country, if a War was to errupt.
I really think American threats are only properganda, nothing more, nothing less.
The USA will not go into Iran, they wont get world or even UN support. Not that this would bother the US Government.
If the USA goes into Iran, Russia will be forced to choose sides, so will China, and I suggest they wont be siding with Dubya this time.
