The case of the dissapearing avatar

I know, another question about avatar problems, but this one really confused me. I changed my avatar a few days ago, and it worked fine. The image was there untill today. But now all that's left of it is a red X in the corner. The image was also gone for the u2u I received it in. I've seen this happen to other people's avatars, but it's never happened to me before. I know it was within the ATS avatar guidelines because it was made by a member of ATS, and worked fine for the first few days. Today I changed it to a new one, and that one seems to be fine, too. Is there a possibility a mod deleted it since it was a vampire picture? If so, I understand, but I didn't receive any notification about it.

Same thing happened to me today and I've had the same avatar since I started here. I think it was just a glitch.

When we delete avatars that do not comply with the avatar guidelines, the mod in question will send you a u2u telling you why and a link to the avatar guidelines
