Well now you all mention it our immigration policies are in line with supposes NWO plans and protocol. This combined with our saturated media/company ownership and our gun laws make us the poster child of the NWO.

I know ATS is subjective, but a lot of what I’ve heard lately sounds obvious John is just making more and more "information" up as he chooses.

The Australian troops are getting out of Iraq in the next few months so this is a clear sign we are not owned by the USA. What a ridiculous comment, I can't believe people would take a claim like that seriously.

Ah this is ridiculous, it gets me so angry that America thinks that it owns th whole bloody Planet.. why would they even need australia.. there's nothing of value there is there?

I agree with you 100% on your first sentence from some of what I read on here and see on your news.

I should also mention you clearly have no idea about Australia – even your “edit” doesn’t help how narrow sighted your World perspective really is too!

Why ridicule others if your statements are just as poor!?

America's/Illumanati corporations have already raided one of your most valueable assets. YOUR MINERAL RESOURCES!!! The most essential elements on the planet!!! Australia is at the top of the list when it comes to depleted MINERALS!!!! Corporations move on to richer untapped mineral resources and the prople are left to deal with the raping of essential resources! Maybe the United States doesn't "own" Australia but global corporations have already had thier way with Australia!! as they've had and continue to have with us Americans!! The personal attacks on Americans I can do without as we are all brothers!! and protecting mineral/water rights is right smack dab in front of ALL OF US!! WE have well water here but I wonder how much longer before some corporation comes drops a well down the road and drains my local water supply! LAKE MICHIGAN is being drained by foreign interests to bottle water and resell it to Americans and others! Owning Australia? No! Controlling Australia might be more like it!! who wants to own something when you can have what you want and then move on to greener pasture!

Thanks for the post Moonbase, it is most welcome.

As you didn't reference any part or segment of "Fortress Australia" I assume you have not read the full text.

I did not write "Fortress Australia" but I know who did and have kept in touch with him for many years which included a trip to Sydney in 1997 for a one-on-one briefing.

As you don't post any specfic examples of what you think I am "making up" it is difficult to respond to your charges.

To base your argument on the 1000 or less Australian troops in Iraq who may or may not be withdrawn is fairly weak in terms of evidence to the contrary that Australia was purchased by the U.S.

I suggest you read "Fortress Australia" and then come back with the facts and figures to support your charge that the U.S. did not purchase Australia.

Thanks again for the post however uninformed and lacking in substance or fact that it was. :

You're right about the ridiculous comments, they're rife on this forum.

The most ridiculous thing that Australia did was to send any of our troops to Iraq. However, I guess we had to, seeing that we're the 51st state of the United States of America and Governor Howard was doing what he was told.

Governor Rudd will play his part, as he's meant to, without offering any resistance to his masters.

Seems Mr Whitlam may have been a bit too socialist with his views. Things like universal health care, and free university for the gifted are frowned upon. We are so brainwashed by Murdoch we call anyone who holds those values today a "bleeding heart lefty".

I would imagine that Australia is the Rockerfellers poster child. We are setting the stage.

Whitlam was and is a tremendously destructive and evil man. His Fabian cabinet was corrupt to its core. He forgot who had been paid off what, including the CIA and paid the ultimate price. Whores have to stay bought and paid for. His borrowings from Arabs, his toadying to enemies near and far was a disgrace. Rudd is just Whitlam II.

Then of course having been patted from Fabians we will as you quite rightly say fall into the net of the Fascists. Hegelianism is our true political system.

I'm an Australian and proud of it

There is many of American influence in Australia and a lot of American owned land out in the middle of no where. (NT and SA).

Now for the Aus troops in Afgan and Iraq, the last Prime Minister John Howard was in bed with Bush, everything America asked of Australia we did for some reason in the John Howard era.

Now our new Prime minister Mr Kevin Rudd (some call him Kevin Dudd) has vowed to pull our troops out of Afgan and cut back start to pull troops out of Iraq, and im sure Kevin and Bush dont get along at all our best buddy China.
Kevin Rudd used to be a diplomat for China for years and can speak Chinese very well, the week he won the election, he gave the Chinese president a call so Rudd is well known for his relations with China where Mr Howard was well known for his relations with America.

So I now see relations between Australia and America going downhill but relations with China and Aus going up, which I think the American gov won’t be happy.

Sorry for my ranting, but I am speaking from an Australian point of view.

If Australia was really bought by America then they had best keep that a secret from the general population. I for one find the U.S Gov to be a strange and scary mafi--- Ahem---- Organization (and thats being polite about it) and they would have to commit a mayjor act of genocide (not that theres any other kind) before they had any control down here. they think controlling things in the mid east is difficult.

Also, Australia is *NOT* pulling out of anywhere anytime this year. Proof? Go and find some aussie troops and get them talking about their future career plans.
