The sky screamed at him, letting him know that in a short amount of
time he would be called upon, for an important task. A task that seemed harder then anything he had ever done.

The most that was ever demanded of him was to pay bills, take care of his family, and enjoy life in the time off from work. Now, something more was demanded. The heavens bled bloodred colours of war, and most of the day
was spent in safety bunkers, hiding from the skies above, and the inspecting machines roaming the streets. He saw his wife crying, shivering. The constant stress of him going out of the bunker had gotten to her and the kids. They were so lovely, his family. So innocent. The more he felt their pain, the more he wanted to do something about it. He had secretly been seeing other women and was now ashamed of it, seeing how fragile beings his family was. He deserved to die. But first he would see to it, that they didn't suffer. He would get them to safety. He had gotten hold of information about a ship landing soon, and the people onboard that ship took women and children with them. His only hope would be that it wasn't a damn setup...

Feel free to continue my story.
