Good futuristic movies?

Hi,

Which ones do you think are good futuristic movies? Such as around set in 21st century, ranged from 2012-2100 or further?

Minority Report

Children Of Men

I think it's best to provide a list that are not too futuristic or somewhat, if you know what I mean.

The one that i just recently watched and has just become my favourite is 'The Island'. Fantistic movie...

Equilibrium (no super popular, but great if you like the matrix)
The Matrix
Pitch Black
The Running Man (Gotta love classic Arnie flicks)
Total Recall (again)
Starship Troopers
Star Wars (of course)
Star Trek (of course)
Terminator 2 (futuristic theme...but not really set in the future)
Robocop

That's all I can think of for now off the top of my head....

Ahh, 5th Element is a really good one. I love how there's flying cars and stuff.

When will the flying cars take over already?!?!?!

One that comes to mind is Twelve Monkeys. Really good movie.

Its not that far fetched of a future.
Children of Men is also very good.

children of men sucked the only good part was that topless scene nyuck nyuck

This one's from the early 90's, it's about a futuristic jail.

fortress? what next thing you will probably say is highlander 2 those movies sucked big time you can do better than that man how about logan's run or maybe mad max those are from your era right

"Blade Runner" is a good one.

A good anime movie based on the matrix, about the future is "Animatrix"

"Deathrace 2000" is a favorite cult classic
