PLAINFIELD, N.H. -- U.S. marshals posing as supporters carried out the arrests of tax evaders Ed and Elaine Brown, officials said Friday.

The undercover officers were invited in by the Browns on Thursday evening, and before the couple realized they weren't supporters, they were already under arrest.

Although I'm saddened to see this news, I'm happy that this situation didn't end in a blood bath like some predicted. On a positive note, I don't see how Ed and Elaine brown can be proven guilty in a fair trial since they have broken no laws.

I hate to break it to you but the Browns were already convicted of tax evasion.

And they did break the law. Now they go to prison to serve their sentence.
