Nope. I'm saying it's irrelevant. I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your opinion.

Yes, wow indeed.

Again, if you didn’t run from history you would realize how ridiculous that is. That region has been at war for ever. First the Jews had it, then the Romans ruled them, then the Muslims came and finished DISPLACING them. Then there were the crusades, where Christians and Muslims fought over it, then some more crusades, then some more. Then, after Israel was done being kicked around by every nation and people on earth, the world felt bad and gave them their home back.

Boo hoo.

That's a heart warming story and all, but it doesn't help your opinion.

The UN has no right to displace the Palestinians, therefore, the occupation that Israel currently has is illegal.

Yes, now I'm positive you get your opinions from FOX News.

Again, if you would learn to read, you'd see that A) I don't care and B) I said that any of them could have been there, and you can't prove who was there first.

So I fear it is your ignorance - and lack of reading skills - that is overwhelmingly self induced.

Then, 7 hundred years or so after The Christ ascended to Heaven, Mohamed claimed that the Quran was given to him.

So, the Jews were there first and you cant stick you head in the sand any longer.

All fiction, because that's what religion is. That's not proof. Sorry.

You could say the same about many countries and territories.

What is just plain wrong is the system of apartheid currently inflicted on the Palestinians by the Israeli Zionist regime. The world is now waking up to that, and idiots like Ahmejimjam are gaining popularity by simply standing against it. Meanwhile, those that support Israel are gradually losing their cred.

If your going to insult an entire nation(israel), which you are by saying they don't belong there or "stole the land". PLEASE READ A BOOK!!!

You can't steal something that is yours already.

Why your argument doen't make sense?
Because the land was taken from the jews long before it was taken from the palestians(fact). Do you understand that the jews were there way before it was muslim.

So by your argument it belongs to the Jews, thanks for clearing that up for everybody. It was taken from them first.

You should try a much more direct aproach at supporting Israel.

No confusion here, my friend. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the history books date before 1947, maybe you should look at them.

Thousands of years of persecution leading up to 1947 was the cherry untop of the sundae. That's part of why Israel was given back to it's rightful owners.

Why do you have a problem with that is the real question?

Absolutely, but keep in mind

Many americans have opinions too, many of them feel strong with the opinions they have. Many of these americans have these opinions because fox news feeds these ideas into their heads.

Im positive you won't think i'm merely a conspiracy theorist when I say bush has almost absolute control over media.

All the talk of what is a Palestinian is pointless. We have devised words in order to communicate with each other. If you understand the meaning what someone is saying then they have successfully communicated and to point out how they falsely used the word is pointless.

So we all know what "Palestinians" we are talking about, right?

That said...

First, you are right. The Jews had no right to take Palestinian land. They didn’t, so why discuss it? They took back their JEWISH land from squatters.

BTW, I have NEVER watched fox news. Not once. Again, you know where can stick your assumptions.

And in reply to your other post, I will make it real clear for you: You cant say it was Palestinian land without referring to history. That would be like if I stole your house, you took it back, then I call the cops who say it doesn’t matter who originally owned it, you kicked me out of it and must give it back. Not logical, is it?

Any person who says that history doesn’t matter, that they don’t care who rightfully had the land first, and then in the same paragraph says that Jews kicked Palestinians off Palestinian land needs to graduate high school, step off the short bus, and enroll at the local community college. While there, seek an instruction in LOGIC and HISTORY.

The Jews and the Palestinians are fighting over Israel because both sides believe they have the right to call it there own. So who do you think has the right to be there? What we did to the Native Americans was very nasty. I work on Puyallup Nation Land in Fife WA. Besides the town, county, and state police who patrol the area the Puyallup Nation has there own police force that can pull people over for traffic violations and give citations and collect ticket revenue. There are also four Casinos in the area I work which make lots of money for the Puyallup Nation. Members of many of the local tribes in the Pacific Northwest get money for college and other things. One person I knew had a curtain percentage of Native American in his blood, and he could prove it, so he was able to get $25k for college that he didn’t have to put to college, I think he bought a car. I know other natives that get a few thousands dollars a month just for being Native American. I don’t think the Palestinian refuges are getting revenue from casinos or able to have there own Police forces in Israel. I’m not saying money and police cruisers make up for taking away the Native Americans land and killing them but the Native Americans and the Aborigines get more then the Palestinians get. And just like the Iraqi verses US casualties from our war on terror, one side has a lot more dead then the other and its not Israel. Just because people don’t agree with what Israel does not mean they are against the Jews. I have grown up with many Jews and they are the same people as me because we came from the same place. I get your point about the many land conflicts the world has had but Israel is unique. For many this is a very sacred place because the roots of the religions many hold so dear originate in that area.

You could just as easily say that isreal is antagonizing Iran as well as her direct neighbors like Syria with thier latest attack eh?

You could say that .. if you didn't understand the situation at all.

Syria got nuclear materials from N. Korea and was forwarding it's own nuclear arsenal - which it would have used on Israel.

But perhaps Iran feels just as threatened? So if Isreal can use preemption AND posses nuclear weapons why can't Iran?

Iran doesn't 'feel threatened'. It's leader wants to be a 'big man' and wipe out Israel, and America. Period.

As for 'why can't Iran have nuclear weapons if Israel does' .. the answer is very simple. Israel has it for self defense and has had it for a while now. They haven't used it. On the other hand - Iran would instantly use it to wipe out Israel. They have said that they want to wipe Israel off the map.

Isreal rattles the saber better than anyone I think. And yes they did not directly strike Iran, then have made no bones about being willing to stage an Osirak type attack if they want to. Is that not a provacation?

It's self defense. Iran said it would wipe out Israel. IRAN is the one doing the provacation. Israel just wants to be left alone. Something that no Islamic country in that area seems capable of being able to do.

I've been saying for years - give them North Dakota.

NOT Alaska - it's too nice and has too much oil.

Ya'll know that wouldn't solve anything. Those middle eastern countries that hate Israel would then turn all that hate to someone new. Probably us. They have to hate someone, otherwise they would be spending all that time looking at themselves - and it's an ugly picture they'd see.

It just doesn't make any sense to me why we can't all learn to share the fricken planet.

There was a time when our people covered the land as the waves of a wind-ruffled sea cover its shell-paved floor, but that time long since passed away with the greatness of tribes that are now but a mournful memory. I will not dwell on, nor mourn over, our untimely decay, nor reproach my paleface brothers with hastening it, as we too may have been somewhat to blame.

The UN put them in control of that land, but who the hell gave the UN the right to steal land from other nations?

Palestine was an established nation. You don't just run them out and hand it to some other entity.

Of course Americans see no problem with it, because with the media, everybody is an Israeli supporter.

But let's say World War III happens, and Muslims are thrown in concentration camps in Europe. 6 million of them die from being gassed, tortured, starved etc.

Post World War III, the UN decides to give the Muslims that survived this ordeal their own nation. They choose the United States as that place. They abolish the government and hand all the land over to Muslims, against the wishes of Americans.

How would you feel? How would Americans feel?

I don't care to hear your odds of how likely that is to happen. I know it'll never happen. I just want to hear what you'd think.

You make no sense whatsoever. There has never been an "established nation" of Palestine in recent times. The land was ruled by the Ottomans until WWI when they got beaten, and British took it over in the war settlement. The current band of whatever you call them there now have not shown any inclination of being able to form a stable government, if you recall all the infighting when Arafat was there, and now with the Prime MInister being run out by Hamas and etc etc etc, it's been going on for years, they are just like imbecilic children, incapable of civilization.

In any case, this is what happens in World Wars, boundaries of nations are redrawn, and new governments are put in place. It happened all over the world after WWI, all through Europe, in the Far East, including in the Palestinian areas. The Balfour resolution dictated that it was to eventually become a Jewish homeland, and this was far before there was ever a UN in existence, and the British ruled it until the 40's when they said heck with it, let the UN handle it. So you saying there was an "established nation" is propaganda to the extreme.

Typical nonsense you hear on ATS here, I don't know why I ever read this crap, just bored I guess.

Secondly, we wouldn't want the Muslims in the USA after WWIII, because they have never been in this area and this not where they are originally from. Heck I doubt if they would even want to come here, they hate us apparently. If for some crazy reason something like that were to happen, why not leave them right there in the Muslim countries they came from? To be honest, what point are you trying to make exactly other than just trolling with nonsense to try to incite off topic arguing?

On topic, it is more of the same from Iran, more threats of attack. And when you make threats, you need to be prepared for what you will get back when you begin to use force, for as we all know the only way to "get all of Israel in Palestinian hands" as he says, is through force, and if they want to use force, then they better be prepared to defend against the same. And it wouldn't be a pretty sight for Iran I might add.
