Tabs to the Left of Me, Tabs to the Right

In the past couple of days, I've noticed that every time I click on a different part of the site here, it opens a new tab instead of just going to the window the way it used to. So now I end up with a dozen tabs across the top of my window.

Stupid question, maybe, but is it a new thing with the site architecture, or did I accidentally turn something on in my Firefox?

OK I think I've figured out what's going on. It only happens when I use certain functions, not every time.

Mods, go ahead and close/delete this thread. I'm thinking so hard today my brain is obscured by the smoke.

choose the "TAB" tab..LOL

then select your preference.

You might have done it..or a FF update may have reverted it..

I like them tabs...they're so......tabular

Firefox tabs are cool!

Unless you've just spent an hour or more composing a relevant and witty rejoinder to some half-wit's off-topic spewing "refutation" and/or personal insult, and in the course of closing the tabs containing the well-researched and supportive links to your position, you inadvertently close as well, the tab containing your pithy and thoroughly scathing troll-trouncing remarks.

Prior to actually having posted said remarks.

Then, they suck!



(I've learned, I now compose these epic missives in Word or Notepad and copy/paste into the "Post Reply" window. Saves a lot of distressed hair-pulling.)

Yeah, I've noticed that too many tabs can get a little confusing too.
5 windows, 5 tabs each..I'm lost LOST!!!

OK now I'm not only frustrated and confused, but nauseated.

And is it synchronicity or did you see that Sarah Silverman Show about the Tab? It is the only one I have watched so far ...

No, I didn't see her show..I just now found out she had a show from my nephew. I've seen a few skits on youtube, but thats it for Sarah..

I'm using internet explorer and now I'm getting the tabs as well. Doesn't really bother me though, I'm a fan of the tabs.

Sounds painful to me.

My pup's always getting "flat tires" with the nasty stickers we got around here.

But I always get an extra happy wag when I come to the rescue and pull 'em out for him.
