I completely agree zanzibar. They should not only be sacked (politicians have no humility so sacking them will barely dent the surface) but should also be prosecuted. Did you hear about what happened in Hungary last year? A tape of the Hungarian PM making a private speech in which he admitted that his party had blatantly lied in order to win the election was made public - thousands of people rioted on the streets of Budapest calling for his resignation but he refused and is still PM! I wonder what would happen if a similar tape was made public (or any other kind of evidence) in the UK? Oh, there was the Downing Street Memo and f**k all happened.

Are you aware of The Ministry of Truth? I've been keeping up with their daily blog for a while now. They've got a documentary coming out on this very topic (pretty amusing blog at times!):
