Iran's foreign minister: "U.S. can't afford another war"

If the US attacks Iran, oil prices will go through the roof..Blockade or not..
While this may sound good to the OPEC countries they will shift to the euro to make any value out of their oilmoney. Iran may begin this process by changing their last 15% of export in petrodollar..China may dumb their holdings of US debt and currencies, they may also attack Taiwan? cause us military is too stretched?
Just an air raid wouldnt cost that much, but if Iran takes their change and move into Iraq or even Afghan soil, calculate again..
And i do think the morale of the Irani army is totally different compared with the Iraqi army..

And you think that the Bush administration dare to even attempt that? while the American people, the rest of the world and specially nations of the middle will just wave littler American flags and saying is Ok, they are the saviors of the world?.

Have you seen the ratings of this present administration and the support of the invasion of Iraq lately?

Well I guess when it comes to war happy patriots is only one God . . . the Bush administration God.

Yes let wipe out the troublesome middle east.

Thats the purpose of these forums. To discuss different paths. Even though I would not have a problem with the bombing of Iran, I would hope that the nuclear option would be a very last resort. I hope and believe that any bombing of Iran should only be conventional bombs. Having said that, I would not lose any sleep if a small nuclear bunker buster was used where conventional bombs failed to destroy the desired target.

You wouldn't lose any sleep over it, even if the radiation killed a few thousand Iranian civilians? Because "tactical" or not, there's no way you can set off a nuke in a city, even underground, and not expect to kill a lot of innocent bystanders. And IIRC most of Iran's nuclear sites are ion populated areas.

Actually I think the nuclear reactors in question that are producing material for weapons are located in isolated areas.

Yeah, that's true. But Persians don't like Arabs. And they're fanatical about their homeland, not their religion. They're very proud of their culture, too.

Just seems to me that the Arabs have slipped into the age of jahiliyah again...

Don't think the seventeen hundreds had a direct effect on the Iran's effort-to-fail in being any victor in the Iv.I war. What I find disturbing is the whole issue of Iran. Their gov are prophet-losers eager to advance on other nations technology under the cloak of world peace and religious extremes. Let'm learn and grow on their own.

I was speaking to Iran's leadership Octavius Maximus. Just silly their beady-eyed schooll teacher Pretended Pres. get's so much attention outlining his handlers views, which I feel, are beyond extreme -- their dangerous. If they had acces to the technology I feel their after.

due to his recent speeches i have garnered a healthy respect for the President of Iran for his intelligence and manner. I found it utterly horrible how he was treated by America.

If American politics stopped trying to use him for their own gains (and everyone else too, for that matter) alot of this could be avoided.

unfortunatly the US doesnt want to lose its Nuclear stranglehold on the world.

...it was a joke, he was continuing my line of reasoning that the things you are accusing Iran of doing, The US did it too.

Dallas... Like I said in response to your U2U it seemed like the most effective way to point out that much of what you accuse Iran and its president of; we do as well, was to turn your words around.

And you really do need to use spell check. I find it very handi.

There really is no reason to be so upset.

now now, Grover. I dont find him very difficult to understand.

There is no need to harass him.

Although i will want Dallas to prove his point somehow.

Grover, does that dog in your pic need a leash?
