Lawmaker shows nude photo to students

news.yahoo.com

NORWALK, Ohio - A state legislator surprised a high school class when the computer he was using projected a photo of a nude woman during a lecture on how a bill becomes a law.

State Rep. Matthew Barrett was giving a civics lesson Tuesday when he inserted a data memory stick into the school computer and the projected image of a topless woman appeared instead of the graphics presentation he had downloaded.

Mistakes happen, but what does that say about the morality of the lawmaker?

At least it wasn't pictures of MEN!!!

And i love the, 'i dont know how that got there' rutine

It could be a prank, i couple buddies of mine pulled one the other day on another friend that was very similar, only lets just say it wasn't the oppiste sex that was put on his desktop. And the next day he powered up his laptop in class, and
oh man, that was funny.

But i would hope that our lawmakers have 'graduated' aboue frat house pranks

A teacher was tried and convicted for showing porn to student, apparently mistakenly:

Source

WINDHAM, Conn. - Until recently, Julie Amero says, she lived the quiet life of a small-town substitute teacher, with little knowledge of computers and even less about porn.

Now she is in the middle of a criminal case that hinges on the intricacies of both, and it could put her behind bars for up to 40 years.

She was convicted last month of exposing seventh-grade students to pornography on her classroom computer. She contended the images were inadvertently thrust onto the screen by pornographers' unseen spyware and adware programs.

I imagine the lawmaker won't face the same fate.

i dont see what the big deal was. it was just a nude photo, it could've been worse. And i dont know about Julie Amero, but the teachers i knew back then were not too shy from revealing their dirty habits. ok that last one was a joke.
