First I have to say that I was extremely impressed with all the entries to this contest. The talent here continues to amaze me and I'm extremely happy to be able to provide an outlet to let that creativity loose.

All the entries were great reads, there were stories that tugged on my heart, stories that made me laugh and stories that put a little chill into my bones. As you can all imagine, judging this contest was extremely difficult due to the high quality of entries but the following three submissions stood out among the rest and were routinely featured in our judges favorites.

The Winner of the Popular vote with the most stars at the time of counting (12) is Masqua with his entry The Cull

and now finally...what you've all been waiting for.........

Now in the past I've selected what I called Honorable Mentions, usually 4th and 5th places, but being it's Halloween and I've had my fill of tricks, I'll dish a treat instead. I cant believe anyone actually liked "A Gnawing Hunger" to be honest but thanks anyway, it makes me feel all gooey inside.

Hurrah! Eveyone who participated is now a published author. I really like Access Denied's written story and Access Denied's story. Both good. It would be fun to "live" stories in a virtual environment based on the written work like the ideas in this series. Live online virtual theatre? Happy Halloween!
