I think that the fact that we need to avoid riots is a sure sign of living under a fascist regime and police state.
Riots and protests are the citizen's way of voicing opinion and forcing change. The Bush admin has long removed our right to protest and riot.
So many people here on ATS wonder why we has a nation have not stood up together and revolted against our fascist regime. It is because of measures
implemented by the government to further criminalize and discourage protest.

I've never found myself in a riot(or anywhere near one for that matter). I've never had police use Tasers on me, or even talk to me impolitely, so
I don't buy the fact that avoidance of riots is evidence of fascism.
So long as protests don't get violent, and are done within accordance with local ordinances, I see no evidence that you don't have that right any
longer. If what you're citing as evidence of fascism, is that you don't have the right of anarchy, I again would have to disagree. The reason why
the masses haven't risen up in revolt isn't because of fascism. It's simply that they don't share your apocalyptic views, though I suppose
you'll use that as evidence of mind control.
