It would surely suck to live on a planet in that nebula. In a couple billion years, all those stars will be black holes. You will be living in a vast endless sea of black holes and gamma ray burts.

It is a great picture, makes you wish we had interstellar travel.

I have that same pic as my desktop wallpaper, but its 3000 x 2100

took forever to load the page lol

Not to mention that when you live that close to all those stars you'd fry up in a second. Keep in mind that the sun is the only star in our solar system and is relatively cool and small compared to the other stars of the galaxy.

Black holes are pretty neat...

Man... makes me realise how freaking tiny I am! Miniscule, really!!

Isn't that statement an oxymoron? I dont believe its possible to live in a sea of black holes.

Very beautiful and would be a site to see by futuristic space travel. It's just looks very turbulent. It's one of the Twelve Wonders of the Universe.
