Your comment was sweeping and accused all of "white America" of being descended from illegal immigrants, which is very untrue.

Peace was in the words of the Europeans but war was in their heart. They poisoned the rivers, and killed Women and children when the men were away hunting. They massacred the indians to an amount which makes the holocaust seem like a small number. Then they made holidays to remember their victory. They took the natives descendants and placed them in ghettos called reservations on Their OWN land.

You've made a sweeping generalization. First off, many natives were treated horribly, especially those who ended up being "found" by the Spanish. What happened in North America isn't as bad (not that I defend it). See, the natives, for the most part, had no concept of owning the land. They didn't see themselves as its owner, so they "sold" it (maybe more accurately described as agreeing to move as opposed to a sale) either for tiny sums of money or just had it "taken" by Europeans. Not all Europeans were violent toward the natives. The European colonization of the Americas, like all colonization and other imperialism, could be loosely described as evil, but you have to understand how it happened and not exaggerate things.

Well, slavery is a horrible practice, and I'm thankful that it's widespread usage has died. But you do have to realize that Europeans actually bought slaves from other (black, for the most part) Africans, as opposed to enslaving them themselves. Doesn't make it any more right, but again, you have to know how it happened. Though I guess ownership of the slaves' descendants counts as enslavement, in a way.

The past already happened, we can't do anything about it. The United States is a great nation, no matter how you look at it (note: great does not mean perfect), and we can't all just...pick up and leave. I don't know what you're talking about the negroes who conquered Ireland or whatever, but no, my ancestors were not here as slaves. I've never heard of any Irish slaves in America, really.

And no, the United States does not belong to the Native Americans any more than it belongs to me or any other citizen.

I don't see any race riot coming either, I think that's really an argument from ignorance, especially to say that we couldn't fight it.

I neither feel nor carry any guilt nor burden for anything that was done in the past. I am an American, and nothing but, and refuse to cave to those who want me to feel guilt for something I never had any part of. This is my nation; I do, to the best of my ability, try to make it a more perfect nation, and will defend it and its Constitution with my life if necessary. No matter how it was founded, the United States of America is here to stay - and I encourage you all to be a part of it, to make it better for our children, as opposed to holding racial grudges and other bigotry.
