Time Travel and Disclosure... What IF???

What if we are experiencing the "Final" version of events

What if UFOs are time travel vehicles... and the reason that disclosure hasn't happened, is because when something does happen, "they" travel back and change things so the final version of events prevents it.
Sometimes little things like "sightings" will slip through, but in the end it is all ignored and discosure never occurs?

The events in this reality have happened, in our reality they are set in stone. If one went back in time and changed events, it would create another "branch" of reality. While there are a great many things we do not know about this reality, it is what it is for us.

In another reality the Cuban Missel Crisis may have lead to WWIII, for all we know we are living in a branch of reality where it was averted via time travel.

Interesting to think about, but there is no changing the past in this reality.

*edit* I should add, this is what I believe to be true. Of course I have no way of knowing this to be fact.
