I just signed up for SETI but didn't actually download the program, I'll do that at my moms, since I have a spare computer (2.4GHz) that I can run
it on 24/7
plus...my laptop's only a 1.06 Celeron.....on which 1 work unit would probably take around 24hrs. anyway..
I'm UnknownOrigins here and there

I've get 1GHz Celerons do a work unit in 10-12 hours, running continuously. The 2.4GHz intel CPUs finish one in about 4 hours. Good luck and welcome
to the team.

Hats off to Spectre!!!
for the first time since Simon started the ATS Seti team a few years back (I was previously using seti then joined the team) I am no longer in first
place
Im a few hundered WU's behind Spectre (you bastard, )
But don't rest on your laurels! I'm about to install seti on my linux box, command line version of course, and maybe a few more PC's I've got
lying around!

***BIG UP for Bob88!!!***
Hi Bob!!
Very many thanx for coming on and saying "hi" to the team!!
Well, Spectre's *really* going great guns, my friend, and we all look forward to the ensuing "battle" of becoming "number 1"!!
For myself, I continue to "chase" (badly, I must admit!!) Sinchron - no podium position for yours truly I'm afraid!! (I was robbed,
Guv....!!)
Thanx again Bob - let's go ATS SETI@home team!!

What you see me doing now is my upper limit of work/day. I am actually out of places to physically store and plug in computers!
Good to hear from you, Bob.

Good to hear from you, Bob.
Move offices Spectre - get twice the floor area = twice the PC's!! Very simple math...
And, be careful, Bob has given fair warning...
Cheers and beers S!

Welcome RG!!
Thanx for the confirmation of your user name - although "obvious", as you'll see, some people *do* have different "persona's" on the board and
it's nice to be able to "make the connections"!!
