Russian specialists believe they have found bones belonging to the son and a daughter of the last Tsar. After the collapse of Communism, remains believed to be those of Tsar Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra and three daughters were exhumed and reburied in St Petersburg.

This would put an end to speculation that Crown Prince Alexei and Princess Maria had somehow survived.

Bullets were found near the remains and prosecutors said they would reopen an investigation on the deaths of the royal family.

The articles also mention a recent court ruling that the descendants of the Romanov family are not entitled to political rehabilitation.

There's a program on Channel 5 (UK) about this matter, right now. It's very interesting.

They're about to carry out DNA analysis on the bones that were found.

The google news link has been removed and I was unable to find the story on the euronews link, i believe it has been pulled also. When you're talking about the "Royals" and their bloodlines they can exert influence to make those sources dry up and go away.
