I wanted to post about her real fast. She founded many churches in maryland and I went up to see her tomb acouple months ago. Shes a sweet Lady that had a huge heart, we seen a video on her.

Heres a story one of the nuns told me about.

They had bread delievered to the church that she founded in the 1800s, so when they unloaded the wagon they found that the amount was not enough.

So they told Elizabeth about it. Well she went and prayer in private to Christ, and by the time the went to leave to go and reload the truck (they needed fast), they found the truck relaoded instantly.

It was like the multiplication of the Loaves. Its incredible.

Here some of her qoutes.

" The gate of heaven is very low, only the humble can enter it "

" We may indeed sow here in tears, but we may be sure there to reap in joy "

Please go read about her. Seton hall is named after her.

peace.

Thank you for that!

I found this at Wiki:

She was beatified by Pope John XXIII on March 17, 1963 and canonized by Pope Paul VI on September 14, 1975, making her the first native-born United States citizen to be canonized. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is the patron saint of widows, children near death, and teachers.

First American saint! How cool!
