Both sharing and downloading copyrighted material like games music, movies is illegal.
The reason tpb is up and running is they simply have servers which directs you the right way, and that is not illegal. The illegal action starts when downloading/seeding.
Which is why i havent bought a CD in 10+ years (since they got to £18 (about $36) here) and go to as many concerts as I can.

What the "Americans" did to deserve this...?
Culturally we are shown how 'cool' Johnny Depp is while being a 'Pirate', but we get sued by filthy rich corporations if we 'pirate' their intellectual property. The whole thing stinks...

Evrything is so backwards, I'm starting to agree with people who say this civilisation is a lost cause.

I have to admit, my husband is VERY dissapointed with this. LOL
He uses TORRENT, because it is the ONLY place he can find a certain kind of music he plays (he is a DJ - of psytrance). Seriously, there is no other place he can locate this music. He can not buy it online anwhere - as noone sells it. We live on a military base in the middle of nowhere, so no stores here. TORRENT was a huge asset to me.
