Pentagon seeks $190bn war funds

US Defence Secretary Robert Gates has asked Congress for nearly $190bn to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He told a Senate committee the money would help pay for armoured vehicles to protect US troops from roadside bombs.

I find the amount of money being spent on this "War" mindboggling, who is profiting? The U.S economy is not that great as it is, so how do you Americans feel about this kind of money being spent on a war alot of you don't even support or feel justified?
