I find the lack of news newsworthy

Okay, this is speculation, but am I the only one that feels that this week so far has been fairly light on real world events news? More so than usual.

I have nothing more than a feeling that this is some kind of calm before the storm - I mean, really, even on ATS look at the topics for this week - they are far less substantive than usual. It makes me wonder what they are keeping from us and why Britney Spears using a public restroom at a fast food place is national headline news.

There is lots of news out there. You just have to go to the right sources. If you're reading stories about Britney, chances are you're in the wrong place.

You'd think that the troubles in Burma would take the lead, or that the japanese elections would come to the fore.

saying that, i don't get the chance to watch the T.V news very often recently, so i'm not too sure i know what you're talking about.

ertainly, mainstream news i.e; the newspapers are pretty quiet recently.
