The 2 huge gaping holes into his hea dprob was the reason!
His body, found in thick woodland near Montpellier, was so badly charred that it took police nearly a month before DNA and dental records confirmed his identity.

Id like to know who linked andanson to the fiat uno?I thought they searched the entire country for that car and never found it.
The car was repainted shortly after the Alma tunnel crash, and was sold by Andanson in October 1997. And although the official French report on the crash concluded that Andanson’s car was not involved, forensic reports made available to the Daily Express told a very different story.
One said that paint scratches from the Fiat, found on the side-view mirror and bumper of the Mercedes, were identical to samples from the matching spot on Andanson’s Fiat. Police are now expected to reopen the investigation into Andanson’s death.
'Ignore All You've Heard Before'
Jurors at the inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi al Fayed must ignore a decade of intense news coverage, books and TV documentaries about the case, the coroner has said as jury selection began.
Lord Justice Scott Baker told the potential jurors, who have been randomly selected from the electoral roll, that the deaths had "created worldwide interest on an unprecedented scale".
He said: "You have to put out of your mind anything you have heard out of court.
Mr al Fayed believes the crash was caused by a combination of a collision with a mystery white Fiat Uno and a blinding flash from a stun gun deliberately fired.
He also believes Diana and Dodi were expecting a baby and that they would have announced their engagement on September 1 that year, the day after the crash, the High Court was told.
The Internet’s not what it used to be. I heard this morning that some Italian magazine called Chi had printed a picture of Princess Diana, dead, sat in the car that killed her in Paris way back in 1997. After dinner, I thought I’d find it, and, incredibly, it’s taken me an hour. Of course, the British tabloids have leapt on the picture, bellowing with outrage. This is just shameless profiteering. Every editor knows that Diana stories sell papers - Richard Desmond has turned over an entire newspaper, The Daily Express, to this peculiar business model, running endless and pointless front-page headlines over Diana.
But what is really ridiculous is that the picture is the tamest photo you could ever expect to see of a car crash. I find it amazing it hasn’t been published before. But then Diana’s death caused a national slippage of normal brain activity in the UK, and the flashbacks for the nation are still reoccurring. -- Kieran Mccarthy
'In a letter that she herself wrote, Diana stated that Charles and his friends were plotting to kill her. "My husband is planning 'an accident' in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for Charles to marry"', reported Nu.nl on Sunday, in reference to an article in The Sunday Times. When the British newspaper The Mirror publicized the letter in 2003, it was not allowed at that time to disclose the identity of the person that Diana was accusing of a plot to kill her, which is why the photo (left) of the accompanying letter had the person's name blanked out. Nu.nl went on to say: 'The British Crown Prince Charles has been formally questioned in the death of his wife Princess Diana.
'The British Princess Diana perished in a 'substitute vehicle'. The car in which they actually wanted to depart the Ritz Hotel in Paris failed to start. But it could also be the case that Diana and her friend Dodi al-Fayed chose another car at the last minute in order to divert paparazzi. This is evident from correspondence that took place between British functionaries and the government in London shortly after the accident
Two of Diana's lovers died in spectacular accidents
Besides Diana, two of her lovers also died as a result of spectacular accidents. In a videotaped recording Diana states that she had a relationship with her bodyguard Barry Mannakee and that he was murdered by the Secret Service as a result. The Daily Mail reports: 'A sensational claim by Princess Diana that her former bodyguard was murdered for having an affair with her is being investigated by Scotland Yard. Her beyond-the-grave testimony that royal protection officer Barry Mannakee was deliberately killed in a motorcycle crash 17 years ago is said to be on a video filmed in the early Nineties. Officers unearthed the 90-minute film - shot by her former voice coach Peter Settelen - while gathering evidence for the inquest into her death. On it, Diana is said to confess to an affair with the married detective and claims he was targeted by security service agents as a result.'
Another of Diana's lovers was John Kennedy Jr. 'Princess Diana had a passionate affair with John F. Kennedy Jr. This is maintained by the newspaper The Sun in a new book about the princess, once the wife of Prince Charles', reported Nu.nl on June 27th. And just like Diana, Kennedy Jr. also lost his life in a spectacular accident. That seems to happen an awful lot to likely candidates for office (Kennedy Jr. was reportedly about to announce his candidacy for office).
