I didn't watch the video, I don't waste my time on Bill O'Reilly, but I did hear about this on the radio this morning. O'Reilly's visit to Sylvia's restuarant in Harlem and how surprised he was that a black restuarant is just like any other restuarant.

yeah yeah yeah, O'Rielly is self righteous and full of hot air, and us giving him any attention even negative attention only furthers his agenda.

oh I admit, I gave him too much attention by even discussing this.

I hope its not long before he slips up and says something like Imus said, then maybe we can finally get rid of him... Of course some other pompous a hole will just fill his spot.

I stopped listening when O'Lielly said, "They all watch the Factor." Who believes this kook?

He defends that piece by saying:

"If you listened to the full hour, it was a criticism of racism on the part of white Americans who are ignorant of the fact that there is no difference between white and black anymore," he told the AP. "Circumstances may be different in their lives but we're all Americans. Anyone who would be offended by that conversation would have to be looking to be offended."

From My way News (AP)

Do you really think he was "just discovering" black culture?

Not at all. It was a transparent attempt to woo the Black community during a presidential election season. Given all that he has stood for since Murdoch gave him his prime time soapbox, it was undoubtebly met with derision by those who have been victimized by him and his kind.

...okay...

I dislike Bill O'Reilly, but I think he was taken out of context, really.

Nothing he said in that clip really irritated me.

Me either, other than the fact that he was proclaiming, "Hey, look at me. I like black people!"

I personally don't buy it given his extreme politics, or more importantly, given the politics of his corporate overlords.
