NEWS: An 11-Year-Old Girl Gives Birth

The youngest mother on record in the Ukraine, is an 11 year-old girl.

Delivered on Tuesday by Caesarean section, the healthy baby boy weighing 3.8 kilograms (8.4 pounds) is doing well. Both mother and son will remain in the hospital under observation for a week.

The 26 year-old alleged father is expected to stand trial and if convicted, faces up to 3 years in prison for sexual relations with a minor.

3 years? 3 years in jail for ruining a child's life? that 11 year old will never have a childhood! being sexually involved with a 26 year old, pregnancy... that doesn't sound like a child's life. this guy ruined her life. and he gets 3 years? now that is a travesty that should not be tolerated by anyone.

So the guy comes home one day and see's her paking up all her stuff like
she's moving. He says to her "what are you doin?" She Replies,
" I just found out your a pedeofile." The guy then says to her "pedeofile?

Correct me if im wrong, as the link to the site won't work, but did he definitely rape her? From what I read it doesn't say he raped her.... Apologies if it does say so in the link.

But yeah, either way, three years is a stupidly low sentence. Abusing a minor should carry a much heavier punishment than that, and if it was rape, then some of the aforementioned punishments seem fair

I hope this girl can live a somewhat normal life, it must be impossible though.

Where I work we do prenatal testing for a lot of clinics and we see 14 and 15 years from time to time, but 11... she is lucky her baby is ok.

And as a mother of teen girls, any male that age comes near them better run fast.

That "man" should definitly get more than 3 years in jail. I can just hear his excuse...she told me she was 15.
