This could be the beginning of the end of that American Auto Worker tradition of being paid well, some say to well, for a job that most say can be
done much cheaper as evidenced by the Japanese
auto manufacturers.
My personal take on this is a feeling of empathy for the auto worker however in being a business owner I have to say that you have to sometimes take
one for the team or there won't be a team to play on. This happened to my business twice and as a result all of the production work I do is
completely automated
I have 1 employee and we share the various odd jobs in the shop
my production without employees is nearly double what is was with so i have to go along with GM on this one people are replaceable someone out there
needs a job and if you choose to walk away from your that\\\'s your problem..
