" the ideation of continually evolving into a ____ content and __-___"

I'm in Springer's Whiskey room if anyone else wants to talk about it.

So something along the lines of:

Imagine -- Continually evolving user content echoing ideation ladled by patients

still missing a few letters

If we keep posting our feeble attempts, I think we will slowly build up the correct words.

Ideation – a continually evolving and self generating, public content ecosystem, finished

Ideation- publish a continually evolving and self defining content creation ecosystem

Several of us had posted all the "known" words. Here was [one of mine]. Notice that I posted this only 35 minutes before you posted your statement that you hadn't seen a post with all these words.
However, I also wrote this post by JustMike, (replying directly to you after you confirmed that "ideation" is a word in the solution) on Oct 26, where I said

Ideation, hey? I'm running that through the anagram machine now, along with:
"The mission, being a continually and self-evolving interface,"

Well, "a continually and" are there because we had been told they should be. (At this time we were still chasing the "mission" concept, though.)

You responded to this post...

I for one also wrote [this] to ask you what was going on after you said that you had not seen one post that contained all the known words. This was within an hour of your own post. I would have replied sooner but I was busy working on the dollnean phrase.

Your saying that there were only three led me to write [another post] that confirms two words from Crakeur (and yes, "a" and "and" are both words, as you said
) and also details that yours ("ideation") and SO's ("continually") were confirmed.

This latter post was apparently unnoticed by other members in the ensuing discussions, just as my earlier was also unnoticed by yourself. In fact it seems they all went unnoticed. I also am puzzled that you gave applause to a member for posting the four words that you said none of us had posted, when we had posted them some time (ie hours or days) earlier. But okay -- fair enough -- if you didn't see our posts then it makes sense to applaud someone for coming up with a response to you.

You can why we are getting frustrated, because our apple carts are becoming very easily upset: even after I posted evidence that made it clear that there were four known words, others were posting that it was "not clear". This is because what you say takes precedence over what I (or any other member) might say. You know the answer and we don't, so when you say something that goes against what we believed to be the case, those apples roll everywhere!

To be honest, when you wrote that there were only three words and not four that had been confirmed as "known", I went back and checked all my notes (spread across three rooms now
) and also many posts relating to this and began to wonder if you were trying to tell us that somehow we had misinterpreted what you, SO and Crakeur had said. Finally, fed up and feeling that we were being given the run-around I got out of here at one a.m. my time.

Mr Springer, we only want to solve this thing. We probably want that result at least as much as you do, but some of the members who've been working on this have reached the end of their collective tethers. It's true what another member said: most of us can't get to NYC anyway, but we want someone to go. Dammit I wish I could but life ain't running that way.

I also understand that this is not the only thread you have to watch over and that you also have other work to do. And this is a huge thread. We all make slip-ups...I'm just giving you a perspective of how it affected this "little black duck". (Apologies to Warner Bros for that quote...)

Please forgive me for venting a bit. I've tried to be balanced and I don't "blame" you or anyone. I'm not even angry. No point in that.

Now I'll get back to work.

I was thinking what the " - " could be used in, and the thing I thought it was is "User-Generated", because thats the way SkepticOverlord writes it. But there is only one R so that can't be it.

User-Guided maybe?

Can someone post the whole thing in words, not the picture? Because every time I try to write them down I get it wrong and mix up the U's and V's.

Gladly! At least, I'd certainly ask SO to put your name in a hat with the rather small number of others who might be able to make it

Announcing: ATS MIX (coming soon, really)

mmmm jello ........

The phrase by SkepticOverlord
Content Ideation: members have direct input on a special "member's choice" regular segment and can collaborate with our hosts on developing full segments.

Wouldn't this usage suggest that IDEATION would be the, or one of the, first words as in..

Ideation- A continually evolving and content .....

This way the IDEATION is being used to give an overall view of what ATS is all about. i.e IT'S REASON FOR BEING..

Could be user-inputted, perhaps. (I thought of user-controlled but it won't work because of the "r" problem.)

Here's the message in plain print:

I've also set it up for you (complete) in an on-line anagram solver. You can access it direct on [this link]

EDIT: "user-inputted" can't work either, because there are only two "u" letters and one is required for "continually".

Sorry about that....

This is the problem I am having as well. I cannot think of any words that define "US" and not to be too big headed,,but surely WE are the "reason for being" of ATS!!!

Yep, it seems like "ideation" would come early in the piece. Doesn't have to, of course, but it's a fair assumption.

I'm wondering about "user-driven" content. Also, going back though my notes, Springer talked about "ethics", "media", "multi-platform" and "everyone".

He also said (bold and italics his):

...the internet (or a specific site) remains the core with the crowd as the source driving all content and ideation.

Imagine this company may do all that and it's TRULY run with and by the ethics of the crowd rather than the ethics of the typical corporate boardroom.

Imagine this company actually pulling this off on a multi platform level without EVER diminishing the crowd's control over ALL the content.

So yes, I'd say "content" should be there. We can't use "crowd" because e have no letter "w", but we could employ "user". So I'm thinking of something like "ethical, continually user-driven and controlled multi level content..." as moving closer towards the "vision" for the future of ATS/TAN. Still need to work out the right mix to fit "ideation" in there, but this is only a concept-development trial anyway. We can't have both "driven" and "controlled", but just as I've substituted "user" for "crowd" it should be possible to fix this in a similar way.

I'll try most of these words in the anagram machine and see what happens.

I apologise if most of what I've written has been said already.

I ran across a NewYorker article by James Surowiecki called "The Science of Success" that mentions a tie-up between the publisher Simon & Schuster (a Viacom property) and a website company called Media Predict Inc that has an address about a block away from the Hotel Ganesvoort. Media Predict has a principle named Stinski and is represented by Voorhees & Sease.

Richard Belzer has a blog on the Huffington Post, a recent Belzer article, "I Got Mine...So F You Kids", and a new-ish publishing deal with Simon & Schuster "Det. Munch's Meta-Mysteries @ Simon & Schuster" from

Perhaps it is a small reality. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Bladerunner's don't retire.

"It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane." and "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." - Philip K. Dick.

I was reading up on microstock and the iPod-economy and found some pretty good complimentary digi-evangelism; from Wired a Douglas Rushkoff interview, "What Does Crowdsourcing Really Mean?", and the Dell semantic-web-ideation vision-thing at the "Ideastorm website", and the best one was about iStockPhoto and microstock. An example of crowd source success and microstock is in a series of articles at the crowdsourcing blog on Wired featuring photo-artist Lise Gagne'.

My girlfriend Flics' hit on some "commons" agreement, available in many, many languages, handy and legal. "Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported", here.

I can't say exactly what the significance of "The Mustard Seed and Tree" analogy put forward by Crakeur but I did some digging and came up with two historical trees one to 1960 and the other to about 1975. This link is the earlier one it's graphic is quite large the second at the AtariArchives site is smaller and a bit more data. I wasn't born then but things have gone "all-neural" since the broadband age.

Was that JackatMtn's avatar dog/lupine in the technorati video? Beautiful animal.

The word puzzle "Words"... "real" words or the "new-speak" of crowd-sourcing? Noun-adjective hyphenates and blended meaning noun-verbs. Ideation-sematic-meme-plex-matrices are heavy duty neologism.

My big brother Attila brought me Harrod's Toffee! And Platinum Hoop Earrings! And a custom made blue satin Nancy Kwan dress with little dragons hand stitched in the collar!!!! Long silk gloves! A web-certificate for custom Italian shoes and purse! He and Mom are at the hospital now. Dad's way, way better but the wound specialist says he still might need a skin graft on his foot and he has to stay on the IV anti-biotics for another day or two. He starts physio Tuesday. Mom's going to stay with Olga cause it's closer to the hospital. Mom fixed Attila up with a nice nurse named Veronica...

I have some word puzzle ideas that I will post after I shower and try on my gorgeous new weapons system. It’s difficult to get clothes – really nice clothes that fit when you are “not of the shelf” physically.

ok I would never quote myself, and such a big quote but I got an applause for this post....I wish I knew a way to link straight to it. Anyhow, this musta been heading on the right track in some way.So hopefully it helps us all narrow this puzzle down some more. Here was my post:

"ok so we're sure on Continually, A, Ideation. Those 3?

and at least one from Kelltars post from Springers reply, at least thats how I read it, I'll go back and post the effort from Kelltar, here it is:

and actually 4 posts later it was Crakeurs (not Springers, my apologies) reply to Kelltars post:

"quite a few nuts found there blind squirrel"

I dunno I like continually evolving, and I like Self contained as well. But Continually Evolving sounds on the button.

I'd say "evolving" is a good candidate for a fourth word. I'm gonna try working with it some."

End of Post-=

(There you have it, again I think "Evolving" is one of the words for sure now, and maybe another that Kelltar had in there.Hope this helps all of us Dollean Heads!)

I think "continually-evolving content ecosystem" is in the phrase because they say that ecosystem thing every time they talk about there plans. And that would mean Imagine isn't in it.
