NEWS: Prosecutors consider charging Sharon

What could be a possible blow to President Bushs' "Roadmap to Peace", Ariel Sharon could be charged in a corruption case. Following the indictment of businessman and Likud kingpin David Appel, of whose attorney is Alan Dershowitz (of OJ Simpson fame), Sharon looks to be charged in the next two weeks in one out of two political scandals dating back to the late 90's.

According to the law, if Sharon were to be indicted -- something which still remains uncertain -- he would be obliged to suspend himself from office pending the outcome of the trial.
