Just to be objective... Looks like a bunch of Code Pink whackos set out to be arrested. Any publicity is good publicity when it comes a group like
that. The camera man was just too serendipitous with his timing and questions. I get the feeling that the whole thing was a set up.
If we are living in a police state as the protesters and camera(man) insinuate then why didn't the Capitol Police ask him for his papers or arrest
him too? Looks like he was still allowed to use his free speech to shout at them while he was making a video. The whole thing was so juvenile I
couldn't watch more than 2/3 of it.
Take a chill pill.

i think you need to re-watch the video,them "whacko's" as you call them are doing what every "whacko" has a right to do....stunt or not.. the
fact is they were arrested for what?
no one knows... i know they have the right goal.. to be heard because you can no more depend on your government to speak for you. all they want are
the son's and kid's home. what's wrong with that?

Well Sparky, you seem to know all about why the were arrested. I was simply making a point regarding how "set up" it all seemed. I actually agree
with you regarding protesting, free speech and what not. I'm for almost anybody saying whatever they want to. However, when irresponsible people
go running around (exercising their free speech.. BTW) and referring to America as a police state then I feel that they need to conduct a reality
check. (Doesn't the 1st Amendment say something about "peaceable gatherings"? Come on.)
You obviously missed my point. If it were a "police state" then there's no way that the idiot commentator with the camera would have been able to
get up in the faces of the cops, chastise them and video tape the whole session.
As for the arrestees, there's a reason that they were "escorted" into the paddy wagon. Stop trying to take down America. It's not perfect but
it's still the best place in the world to be. You know what? If the cops are proven wrong then they will be held accountable in the courts. Get
over yourself and land the spaceship.
