Police Beat Town Councilman Then Arrest Him For Assault
www.prisonplanet.com
Roseland town council member David Snyder is calling for the resignation of a town marshal after a fight at Friday night's meeting.
Snyder says while he was being arrested, he became a victim of police brutality.
He was released from jail Saturday afternoon, when a felony charge of battery of a police officer was dropped.
The St. Joseph County prosecutor's office reviewed the police reports Saturday morning, dropped that charge but left two misdemeanor charges. That
meant he could bond out of jail. Now he’s recovering at home. (visit the link for the full news article)

You can watch the video on the wndu link by pressing "EXTENDED VIDEO: The moments leading
up to David Snyder's arrest." I want to see someone try and defend the Police action in this one.

Did you see the video? The cop pushed the old man for no reason, then outside while on the ground and pinned down, the cop wailed on him twice with
force.
1:43, 2:07 - 2:08, it's gets pretty disgusting.

You have to watch the glass in the background closely. If you do you can clearly see the cop give the guy a hell of a shunt along the corridor and run
him into the door.
Please, tell me - why was he being escorted out of a room by two armed police officers - he had got up, collected his things and was leaving anyway.
In fact - what were they doing there so handily in the first place? Is it usual practice in the states to have police on hand at public meetings?

That man was in no way acting in a aggresive manner. What total BS. Police do this because no one stands up for themselves. What total BS. If
officers that did this kind of $h!# started popping up with their heads cut off then maybe other officers would be a little more respectful to the
average person. Police brutality is one of the few things in the world that truely infuriates me. Also, that filthy swine of a "woman" saying
she'd be a witness and that she saw him assault the officer, she needs to slowly burn also. Just low level swine in systems that are full of them.
The bonfire grows bigger with everday that passes.

Also.. Roseland Police department Phone number is (574) 272-6241 I suggest everyone calls to state how they feel about this.

There's a poll on the local
site asking: "Do you think the police went too far with their use of force in David Snyder's arrest?"
36% of the people said NO.
What? How does a man get beat up, a felony charge, and two misdemeanors for doing absolutely nothing. How does this happen?

I find it rather annoying the way everyone was saying "lets stay out of this, leave it to the officers" So these people will just stand there and
let this happen, because they are afraid to get involved.
