9/10 Janus... An angel on steroids is what comes to mind for me.
Mine is actually the control station on a steam ship... What you are looking at is where the marine engineers throttle the steam generated from the
boilers. That right wheel is for ahead steam to the HP turbine and the left wheel is the astern steam to the LP turbine. All those gauges you see
are what we keep an eye in to make sure we don't.... well... die.
It's actually the control station for the Wilfred H. Sykes... A bulk carrier operating on the Great Lakes... I spent some time on it as a cadet for
Great Lakes Maritime Academy and took that photo for an assignment.
You have your overated captains who push papers and steer the ship... then you have the real man in charge on the boat... The chief engineer who is
the actual final decision on what the captain can and can't do. Think of Scottie from Star Trek... Ay Captain we can't give you no more
They break it and we fix it...
Oh the power of 765 degree superheated steam at 450 psig... unhhhh unghjhhh ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Wow thats a lot of dials to watch, im going to give it 8/10 because its interesting .
Mine is Spawn ( McFarlains creation ) gaining forgiveness for past sins. I chose it because now matter how far we fall, there is always redemption
should we wish to find it.
