How to get rid of the Illegal Problem in the United States....

Illegals, because of their up bringing and lack of education, are extremely superstitious... In doing research I have found that Illegals are scared to death of being hexed, having spells cast again them, things of this nature. They are also extremely scared of God and the Church, to the point of being easily manipulated.

So here is the solution... Someone needs to come up with a picture of some kind of scary animal, come up with something in Latin that says destruction to all illegals through natural causes, mother nature, and then start handing this out all over the place.... Now you may think this is funny but to those poor uneducated folk, it's not and they run so fast it's not funny....

You know.. I sometimes wonder how people can be so cruel, put yourself in thier shoes... how would you feel? They are just looking for a better way of life, they can't help they were born into a poverty starved society.. that is not thier fault.

I commend anyone that would go into unfamilar territory looking for a better life for themselves and thier family. Then to have someone come and try to scare them away is just disgusting. Actually it makes me sick to think someone could be so mean and cruel to another human being

Now if only you would put some thought into what to do about the superstitious, easily manipulated, poor uneducated folk that come to ATS, then maybe we could really get somewhere.

So all illegals are uneducated, and have an upbringing conducive to superstition, correct? This may be true for some, but I challenge you in that it certainly is not all.
There are many LEGAL citizens, some many generations as American citizens, who have the same fears you have stated.

Want to talk about superstition? Ever been to the Bayou? How about the Pine Barrens in NJ? Maybe the Salem area in New England? The list is endless.
'Illegals' come in many colors and creeds. Their education, and beliefs vary as much as a big box of Crayola crayons. Many are educated. Many are uneducated, yet extremely intelligent. Many are exactly as you had described. Most are not. Many are hard working people who do what the most of us turn our nose up at so that they can take care of their loved ones. While I don't like the idea of illegal aliens taking jobs from those who are legal, I DO RESPECT their values. To take care of my family, I would do the EXACT same thing that 'they' do.

My solution versus your solution is very different. Fear tactics? A picture of Bigfoot, and the Chupacabra eating 'illegals'? Childs play. This will do nothing but make a mockery of our countries already suspect intentions.

With all due respect to your extensive knowledge of the Mexican people and there culture, your proposal is the most ignorant thing I've heard in weeks, and that's saying something, because I've been following the presidential campaigns and I've heard some ignorant crap.

If you think people are that backwards and stupid, why don't you just put up a scarecrow in a borderpatrol uniform, or put up a sign at the border that says "now entering Mexico".

There is no way that you can be serious. I believe that the sole purpose of your post is to stereotype and insult immigrants and I find it repugnant. I would strongly suggest that if you want to engage in conversation here, you should at least have something substantive to say.

The best solution to the illegal immigration problem is to heavily fine any business that hires illegals. $10,000 per person. To get the proper results offer a $1,000 per person reward to anyone that turns in a business illegally employing these illegals.

No work, no problem!

Why further choke out our economy with high labor costs to match the high cost of business, fees, and taxes?

I'd suggest securing the border, creating manageable access points, increasing the number we allow over (the number specifically is debatable), and turning our attention to economics.

2 points:

1) This issue is purely economic, no more, no less. The reason for the problem is the pure LEVEL of socialism we employ in this country. Small amounts, small problems (in this respect), larger amounts of liberty for all. Large amounts of socialism, large problems, smaller amounts of liberty for all.

So, remove the reason we need to register with the federal government at all. Remove federal social programs, remove income tax, and remove minimum wage laws.

2) As for the Mexicans doing something bold, they could stay in Mexico and fix that crap hole.

We should help if we can rather than try to fold them into us.

I don't think its right make fun of the illegal immigrants like that. While I agree that things may have gotten out of hand with the situation, I think there are better ways of dealing with it than mockery of their culture and trying to get rid of them by unkind means.
As for the immigrants themselves, I think it would serve them much better to enter the country legally. They would certainly be paid better and have other benefits such as medical insurance.
But then again, with all the talk of looming economic trouble on the horizon in this country, it might be better for them and us if they just stayed in Mexico. Unless that NAFTA thing puts the USA, Canada, and Mexico all on equal finacial footing.

no, the solution to the illegal immigration problem is to help in the building of strong central and south american economies.

now, knowing you, you'll probably retort with an objection to it not being our responsibility.

two answers to that:
1: it's the only true long term solution to the problem
2: the US government has done more than it's fair share of supporting horrid dictatorships in south america... so it kind of is.

punishment doesn't solve the problem, prevention does.

If the illegals were smart they would know that its wrong to violate the sovereignty of a foreign nation and figuratively rape its people.

Enough is enough, our laws need to be enforced against everyone or against nobody at all.

laws aren't perfect... current immigration law is very far from perfect. especially when one looks at how visas are alloted by nationality...
it's a fairly biased system.
...it's also very hectic to immigrate to the USA, no matter where you're from, but it is incredibly easier if you come from england or canada than it would be from mexico or argentina

...and why doesn't anyone complain about the mass of cuban illegal immigration that has taken place for decades?
