Correct me if I'm wrong but what your describing is nothing more than having a BFF (Best friend forever) type of relationship. You yourself stated that you didn't want anything sexual out of this relationship. I don't think you need to worry about the sexuality of the situation. In fact, at your age I would reccommend that you have some really close girlfriends and not get so hung-up on finding a boyfriend.

So what if you're BFF with some other girl. Unless you're sitting in the back of a car, fogging up the windows while you're lip-locked with this other girl you're not doing anything homosexual in nature. Heck, I used to take showers with the rest of the football team. Did that make me a homosexual? Of course not. People today get so hung up on the homosexual issue that it ruins what happens to be perfectly natural behavior. It's paranoia.
