I don't wanna brag, but we were recently allowed to turn right on red light, if no traffic is comming our way, where I live and in most towns around here.

uh, unless you were being sarcastic, then I'll bring it to your attention that since the creation of stoplights, you have always been allowed to turn right on reds. It doesn't interfere with the rest of traffics flow, so its allowed.
