I think he is going to influence Russian politics even after leaving office. He might come back again in 2012 or may be before if something goes wrong
in parliament and President has to resign.
Whatever i collected from internet about russian constitution, One cannot stay president for more than 2 terms, however person can return back for
president\'s position after some time ( I guess afte 1 term, 4 years)
