Materialists unsuccessfully search for the key to consciousness in the brain, others say its some kind of 'energy', but why does it need to be
either of those things?
Consciousness has never been observed, weighed, or measured - so why do we assume that it can be?
Through our lives, our bodies are in a constant state of decay and recomposition. Eventually, the decay wins out over the bodies ability to
reconstitute itself and death occurs.
In a healthy body, all of the matter that composed it will be replaced every 7 years. Think about that, because it means none of the matter that
composes you currently, will be there in 7 years. Even your brain cells are replaced.
If matter is interchangeable, doesn't that mean that YOU aren't matter at all?
It has already been shown that information (as in non-material) can change the behavior of particles through the double slit experiments and it's
many variants. This has been absolutely proven.
Is it so far of a stretch then to say that consciousness could be immaterial?
