A Lynx tried to kill a lamb in Norway last night. Instead it ended up getting killed by the other sheep in the flock. About 20 sheep scrambled to protect the lamb, and managed to kill the Lynx. The lamb survived the attack. This is a unique event, I believe...

Norway! Where the sheep are tough and the lynx are nervous!

You don't see them showing things like that on Animal Planet. Who knew sheep had it in them?

My grandpa told me about a time in Arizona near Quartzite where my grandparents used to winter. He saw a cloud of dust out in the desert and looked through his binoculars. He watched a mother antelope beat the heck out of a coyote that was trying to get to her baby. Coyote 0 Antelope 1 when the coyote was forced to run for it's life. It's all about mother love or in the case of human parental love.

To quote Monty python:

"That there is that most dangerous of animals, a clever sheep"

Interesting story though. Never seen a sheep do anything vaguely intelligent before.
