White House blinks on anthropogenic climate change

John Marburger, the White House science advisor interviewed today by Roger Harrabin of the BBC, stated that there is now more than 90% certainty that humanity is the cause of global climate change. He said that CO2 levels must drop, but stopped short of calling for specific targets on emission reductions. James Connaughton, top climate advisor to President Bush, confirmed that these statements now reflect official White House policy.(visit the link for the full news article)
