Google Backs Private Moon landing!

A $30million pot to the firm that succeeds how crazy is that, i wonder if any of the competetitors from the private spacecraft race that went on a while back will compete. also anyone with a scientific background please chime in if this is possible to do outside having NASA and JPL resources

hopefully this will give an independent view of things on the moon. Mabye it will clear up the "life on the moon" question, unless of course the government gets to the images and crew accounts first. I'm looking forward to seeing this happen!

How is NASA going to cover this one up? Accident?

Interesting to know though, hope someone accepts the challenge.
