I came across this while searching a website. Its a man has a home made ufo type thing that hovers and flys. Looks Very real.

It's not quite anti-gravity, but it's a start hehe!

Looks a bit dangerous though doesn't it! Imagine the power running out mid flight...

hahah that would be funny. your right it is a start. now to fly through space....

Does anyone else notice the crane overhead?

At first I thought it was pretty cool how a hovercraft could get that far off the ground, then I saw the crane and said "DOH!!!".

Your reaction was appropriate, for that's a tether not a hoist cable.

(A tethered flight during testing is common. It allows the power to be delivered electrically through the tether, saving time loading and charging large batteries. It does not supply any lift.)

When the craft is ready for soloing, i.e. he flies it for real, they load up the power cells and take off the tether.
