You don't know
I walk amongst aliens
With strange faces.

They belong
Unlike you,
A thorn on my side.

Stand still.
Keeping it all in,
Like an alien.

You don't know.

As I ponder what the future may bring,
I always know where to go.
There is intelligence in this mouse, you see,
It is up to me to go where it may lead.

This mouse has led to sadness and joy,
However, I still click it every day.
It has found friends and foes,
It also led me to the three Amigo’s.

I wish to know the truth I asked,
This mouse showed me how to unmask.
There are many horrors on the earth,
We all search for our very own worth.

The place it has led me has given me much wisdom,
To fight for my vanishing freedom.
It is up to me to make a difference,
Only with true guidance.

Soldiers moon
I wish I May I Wish I might come back home from this fight tonight

the moon is full it shines so bright would some one shed some light on who is really right.

Take my fear give me might, I can not see, I’ve lost the way with out my sight.

The moon is full it shines a deem light on all the men who died here this night.

Every present is a future past.
Make Now count.
For "Then" will an eternity last.

To walk through the corridors of conformity,
Fall through narrow explanations,
And reap the rewards of ignorance.

You have taken my freedom, my love and peace,
Yet remain anomynous. Why?
It is you who hide in animosity toward me,
And I am weak. Though, look deeper,
And you shall feel my strength. Ours.

They make measurements, through a compass Of long irresolution, a square set and solid.
Time breeds from the seeds of what men sow, And roots fat and ravenous rise with impetus. Yet method mirrors a fruitful ambition,

A harbored want in a crystal sphere, unleashed
By the prerogative of passion. The whips scar
And mould these roots of belonging,

Mighty and genetic, a foundationless fool.

I wrote this poem for my son after we built a model of an A-1 Skyraider we named Sandy 505.

Sandy 505

This is Sandy 505, coming in from way up high.
Before I drop my bombs I dive,
Shoot my cannon, let rockets fly.
Then its bombs-away, right on the mark,
And all the bad guys' day goes dark.
This is Sandy 505, beware my fire from the sky.

You are my life, my day, my end,
On lifes great journey i have found a friend,

My beacon light when darkness shrouds,
My sunlight breaking through the clouds,

Deny Ignorance they cry, although ignorance is bliss,
The point of this all, they seemed to have missed.

And as my final breath shall fall,
I cry "ATS the truth expose to all!!!"

i hope this wasn't to late to submit

Yay for poetry!!!

I will hold
The secret
You keep
In my night
With my love
I will make it my own.

Memory unfolds like pleated silk,
A familiar landscape unveiled.
My soul yearns for galaxies eons away,
Russet knolls and shadowy vales.
A jade green sky filled with silvery craft,
Flying below amber clouds.
Wonder full - Synergetic tugging of umbilic strand.
Pulling, pulling, pulling - ancient home.

Now I have to go back and re-read them all.
Which will be pleasure. There are many good entries here, and a star will be hard to decide on.

And please, disregard my own bit of doggerel. It was for humour only, and NOT on par with many of the submissions here. I bow to the more talented.

Older than dirt and wiser than sin,
I watch ... and watch ... waiting, knowing they will appear,
watchers returning. Silently,
from the watcher on the water to the watcher of the west,
I summon them with the last laugh of creation
to drive them mad by the very howling
of my toothless

*******************Lament of the Drone Rider****************

I told of drones, and went on line.
I hoped for love and open minds.
Instead they scoffed and called me names;
It was a hoax, and I to blame.
They proved so clear, it could not be,
That I doubted, even me.

So I'll just leave, and return no more;
Some other planet, I'll explore.

The Half-Soul-Villian-With-Angel-Eyes
Walks the street on both sides
Sometimes even the brightest eyes still
Hide the darkest stories

The Angel-flapping-broken-wings
Is drawn to polar extremes
And so weakness blinds
Each from others values.

The half Villian-Joins-half Angel-
Villian not playing villian
Angel playing whore
And begging for a drink.

One loses strength the other fire
They leave the fight for light and dark,
Dropped there on the floor.

The wings open-Sabre-drawn
Cavorting right then left!
Apart with defects, together
They shape a perfect pair.

The Half Villian leaves-With-Angel-Heart
No words, just silent rain
And he is now half Angel,
She is forever changed.

Eating me, draining me
These memories of past lives
But they'll not be back
Never be seen again
Never be heard again
Never be felt again
For they have gone
To the memories of a murderer

driving late at night
headlights slash a corridor
into the unknown

stare into the sky
shaking your fist in anger
friggin show yourselves

it was not the way
of the snake to move forward
but rather sideways

Oh mangy lost dog
sucking my goats and chickens
alpo is on sale
